Our service is committed to ensuring you get the best advice and coaching and reach the start line confident and prepared to achieve your goal

Training plans are uploaded on the Trainingpeaks platform with weekly mentoring and feedback of how the past week progressed and whether adjustments or updates need to be made to the plan for the coming week.

 

As a coached triathlete you can register a free Trainingpeaks account and request Pinnacle Multisport as your coach to receive your individualized training plan which you can also view via the Trainingpeaks app on your smart phone for ease of access.

Our Goals

The aim of Pinnacle Multisport is to guide beginners, intermediate and advanced triathletes through structured workouts to maximize their time, with weekly interaction and feedback so that adaption to the overall plan can achieve the greatest benefits for the individual.

Whether you are looking to do your first Ironman or long course triathlon, an olympic or just wanting to do a sprint distance to see. Alternatively just getting fit and running a 10k, half marathon or marathon or wish to complete a 100km cycling sportif or participate in cycle races

Pinnacle Multisport is geared for the time crunched athlete, mainly focusing on triathlons of all distances as well as running and cycling. Whether you are looking to do your first full Ironman or long course triathlon, an olympic distance or just wanting to do a sprint distance to see. Alternatively if just getting fit and running a 10k, half marathon or marathon or wish to complete a 100km cycling sportif or participate in cycle races. We will be able to assist you.

 

Pinnacle Multisport also has a partnership with Club 100 to provide training assistance and coaching to the triathlon members within the club.

Simon Oliver

Coach

 

Simon is the founder of Pinnacle Multisport. His experience in racing as a competitive age grouper and adaption of training to the time crunched individual can offer a unique and individualised approach to training, racing and data analytics to ensure his clients achieve their best. Simon would be defined as logical and thorougher in his approach to coaching and guiding the time crunched athlete. Coach to Club 100 and owner of Pinnacle Multisport

Simon is a competitive cyclist for over 15 years since coming back to the sport and now a competitive Age Group athlete for the last 9 years and raced all forms of triathlons from sprints to full distance and qualified three times for Ironman World Championship 70.3. Has a IM70.3 middle distance triathlon best of 4:50 hr in category AG 50-54. Finished 1st at Ironman 70.3 Rwanda (2024) AG 55-59, 4th at Ironman Nelson Mandela Bay 70.3 (2022) AG 55-59, 2nd at Ironman Rwanda 70.3 (2022) AG 55-59 and 4th at Ironman 70.3 Durban (2021) AG 55-59.

He is also a competitive mature runner with a 3:14 hr marathon (at 56yo) and a 4:59 hr 56km Ultra Marathon and Comrades Ultra Marathon (87.7km) of 8:42 hr at 57yo, who is also a STRYD running power meter coach.

Whilst based in Johannesburg, South Africa, through modern technology and easy of online training plans, conference calls on Zoom, Teams and Skype as well as email or whatsapp contact I have many international clients who are able to train and achieve their goals. The use of a remote coach is not an obstacle and often can be of great benefit with better objective views.
